What is your max monthly subscription fee you are willing to pay?

Personally, I cant imagine pulling my wallet out to pay for something on facebook.

Subscription fees are the only way, in my opinio, to make this company and stock price look positive long term. That is if members are willing to pay for it.

I'd pay 100x more for td.com membership. And I'm not joking.

ETA: That's assuming the majority that post here remain.

hence why this is a joke at this valuation...most every tactic facebook has to increase revenue has the potential to piss off the user base. Imagine a business where your inventory can get up and walk out of the warehouse and you have no recourse.

$0.. and they know they will fail if it comes to charging for subscriptions. Information is there product and its use has to been done carefully.

Stock isn't priced on the future existence of subscription fees. Its a growth stock, subscription fees are not a growth strategy, they're literally the antithesis of it.

Most google products are free as well

I suppose that means the company is going to close their doors if they don't start charging a penny per google search

Google's advertising model works tho. People use google to find something, usually somehting their willing to pay for.

facebook's product is a persons social network. I dont think their current advertising works. I also know that most users log into facebook through their cell phones(limited opportunity for advertising)

People dont go to facebook to look for a product. Totally different.

Bad comparison IMO.

If facebook were to roll out something completely revolutionary(something like an advertising will pop up on my phone when I walk by a store in the mall) then my personal outlook will turn.

I would estimate somewhere around 90% of the valuation is based on them being able to effectively implement mobile advertising.

I. Despise. Facebook. I cancelled my account last year. I only registered because of a charity group.

My acquaintances who are interesting do not use FB. I have friends who are only registered to spy on their children. Yes, you may have a closed account and not have Mom/Dad as a friend, but if you post on a friend's page who has open account, then Mom and Dad can figure out what you are up to.

I'd pay to use google and TD. Wouldn't pay for Facebook ever. Once I get done getting addresses for my wedding, I'm deleting it.
