not really... just re-hashing the same material. It's just seems funnier because its Will Ferrell.

The digital short and Nick Cage bits were very funny but the rest of the show has been total crap.

They needed to do a celebrity jeopardy and a Robert Goulet bit. But regardless this episode was very good and some people need to get off their high horses and then get their stick out of their arse and stop expecting every skit of every show to be "Best of" quality

Would've been cool, but you can't do that without Darrell Hammond.

I don't think anyone who knows SNL expects the "best" quality on every show but the 2 of 3 gay/ lesbian skits every week is a freaking bore... SNL used to be about cutting edge and pushing the envelope originality... now its just re-hash jokes and quite boring except for the occasional super star guest.

I must have caught all the bad skits because the ones I saw were absolutely dreadful. The mayoral race for that funky town or whatever was stupid. Didn't even crack a smile. And the commercial with Kristen Wiig about the Almost Pizza was dumber than dumb.

I'm only talking about last week. The bush opening, flu commercial, weekend update/nic cage, 100th digital short, ESPN thing, and Will Ferrell singing lady songs were all funny.
