I know most people here don't like Seth Meyers as the Weekend Update anchor, but I think he has some of the best guests that I can remember. Moynahan's Drunk Uncle & Snooki, Nic Cage, Stefan, Armisen's Gov. Paterson, Garth & Kat (I think most people here don't like them either, but I get tickled and laugh every time they come on)

This. It seems like everything after Weekend Update was just horrible.
I think they had to cut a sketch and that's why they showed that Almost Pizza commercial again (it was in a previous episode, and yes i know they do reuse those sometimes). It seemed like maybe they had to push Usher's second performance back. I dunno it just seemed like there was a long long break between the sketch before it and then his performance.

I'm watching it now on Hulu, and it's pretty bad. I agree that it started off decently enough, and after WU, it fell off totally. The first few skits after WU were horrible, and I ended up FFWDing through them. Usher's second performance was awful too...he sounded terrible. I'm about to watch the last segment..hope it's better.
Weekend Update was good shite. I love Samberg's Nice Cage, and I think Seth Myers is a great WU anchor. Also liked the women golf skit.

I liked the throwback singing sketch earlier on in the show from the high school gay prom and the nick cage part the most. The rest was just not that good.
