Whiskey - Grade school thru graduation...what is next??

My pallet for good bourbon has grown exponentially since graduation from LSU 8 years ago.
Highschool
To college
But until last year I had stagnated with Makers Mark.
I really need another good bourbon to get into. My favorites currently are Elmer T. Lee (this stuff is amazing) and Eagle Rare (equally as good, but gets takes a second place to Elmer)
I am looking for a smooth oak maple bourbon not sweet but full flavor... or the like, but I'm not sure what to ask for when i go look.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Yes i searched, but couldnt find the few tasting threads
Also any suggestions on a handful of bourbons or scotches would be handy when i put together a tasting party.

I've heard a lot of good things about Elmer T Lee. I like Eagle Rare as well.
Knob Creek is good. I have a bottle of Blanton's but I haven't opened it yet, waiting on a special occasion. Still trying to get my hands on some Pappy Van Winkles.

I like Woodford Reserve. It has a caramel flavor.

Good evening, this is Dr Beardface, you rang?
(Unfortunately the real pager has been going off way too much...)
I'm at work tonight so I can't go too in depth now, but I'll post the links to the review threads I've done.
Jefferson vs. Pappy
Jefferson Presidential Select, Pappy Van Winkle 15 year, Pappy Van Winkle 20 year, George T Stagg
Bourbon and Bread Pudding Tasting
Maker's 46, Jefferson's Reserve, Eagle Rare 10 year, Rock Hill Farms, Blanton's, Russel's 10 year, Black Maple Hill, and Woodford Reserve
Christmas Presents
Black Maple Hill, Old Smoky Apple Pie Moonshine, Elmer T Lee and Elijah Craig 18 year
4 Roses Single Barrel
I'm sure I've talked about others in other threads but those are the highlights. Good luck in your bourbon conquest

I'm a big fan of Blanton's Bourbon
Give it a try. I like it poured into a glass overstuffed with ice and just sip on it

Few more you can try....
Basil Hayden's: on the far end of the spectrum...a clean, smooth, easy to sip bourbon...can't stop buying this stuff...
On the other end of the spectrum, there's Booker's....Higher proof, really long finish, with a lot of bite. When you want tie one off, this is your go-to...
In between there fall a few more of my favorites: Blanton's, Bulleit, Buffalo Trace, Jefferson's (especially the Pres. Select, though it's pricey)
And for the holidays when you want to splurge, look at the pic to the left and canvas the area trying to find a bottle of PVW23...

Bulleit
Tried that at Pal's once in mid city
Albeit in some stupid fruity cocktail. I think it was Bulleit and some sort of strange pumpkin stuff with a nutmeg garnish.
I was with a friend and he asked me if he could try it. I said hey why not. His response: "Yep, faggy just like I thought it would be. I'm going get another high life and I don't care if they use a dirty bottle. You need another drink fig?"

I've become a big fan of Blanton's over the last few months.

4 Roses Single Barrell is really good
If you can find it get some George Dickel Barrell Select, really smooth.

Bookers vs. Blantons- these are fairly close in price I believe. If you were going to buy one, who you got?
