If folks can't see why even a So Ill Salukis, Northen Iowa, Iowa St, etc..should have a hoops power program before LSU, because they are closer to being an LSU Football or LSU Baseball environ in contrast to LSU Hoops Fan provides..
Then there's no way of ever getting them to understand.

Fans dont support the program. Coach can't get talent he wants because recruits see the lack of fan support. Coach is forced to take second rate players give or take one or two. Players just aren't good enough. Fans get pissed. Coach gets fired. Fans bitch about the new hire. Repeat.

You forgot the part where the "fans" claim they can do better than the coach and, more hilariously, the players.
