In the deal, the Rams will receive the Redskins' first-round pick each of the next three years, plus Washington's second-round pick this year in return for the second overall pick

So does this mean that the Skins keep their 1st round pick this year, meaning they have the #2 and #6?

boyyy, he better pan out. If not, they are ffff-fricked. How far does this set the franchise back if he's a bust? 7 years? a decade?

We've been fricked for 20 years, what's another 10 more? This trade gives the fanbase hope. We'll now sign Colston/Vincent Jackson. Shore up that Oline and secondary and this team could be doing things in the next couple of years. They're young on defense, young on offense. Shanahan and Allen are building this team right.

We've need a QB for YEARS. I'm fine with it. We'll do some smart damage in free agency. TON of cap room. The third first in there is a bit much, but you gotta take chances.

Why is every person so shocked?

Ever since the Rams started talking about trading the #2 pick, it's always been three 1st rounders as the going rate.

Reminds me of the Saints trading all their draft picks to draft Ricky Williams. 2012 RGIII = 1999 Ricky Williams.

You won't find many Skins fans mad at this deal, I'm telling you the town is going to be pumped.

RG3 is going be a bust. bookmark this, he's not going stay healthy enough. I don't think he can take hits.

Well at least they get something for him. The saints will lose draft picks and get nothing in return

I don't think he's going to be a bust but I don't see him being Cam Newton either. He'll probably be the QB version of Ricky Williams. Good player with one or two great years but not a franchise changing player.

As retarded as this deal is for RG3, I've come to the conclusion that the only way to be successful in the NFL is to get a franchise QB, no matter what the cost.
