Yes, the team eventually quit for lack of leadership and lack of any gameplan whatsoever, or even encouragement from their leader the HC
Les Miles. Worst Game & Game plan ever for LSU.
Yes I am still upset.

RR quit. And its the draft so of course scouts are going to examine every little detail and analyze every game they played in college. So it doesn't matter if it was just one game, it was his last game and the most important one so people are going to talk about it.

WTF am I losing?

I don't believe you can look at that game film and determine much about what the role of LSU's receiving corps for that game. I imagine they all had "quit" by the middle of the 3rd quarter or so. If McShay used specific examples of him missing blocks, or some thing similar I may understand. If he is using body language, Randle never shows much outward affection for the game.

This has been a trend with our WRs since Byrd. Can't blame them at all with the shite playcalling we had.

dont compare randle to byrd. byrd was a piece of shite who, instead of supporting a struggling frosh QB, acted like a bitch and pussy with his antics on the field and sideline

pretty good representation. How can anyone quit on that stage?

people defending it because of the "poor gameplan" are just being homers. It is indefensible

Game plan was not followed for some reason. Coaches quit on offense that isn't even debatable. Sickest LSU performance effort wise I have ever seen.

I'd be pissed too at the coaches for not finding ways to get me the ball. Byrd, Lafell, and Tolliver all had their moments. Our fricking playcalling was horrid frosh QB or not.

"Randle Quit" = grass is green = sky is blue = pizza is delicious.

My arse was chapped beyond belief after that BCSNCG. Could things have gone better from a coaching perspective? Yes indeed! From a player perspective? Yes indeed! It was a tough pill to swallow, but I've shite out that pill and I would expect all you pussies to do the same.

The reality is, football season is frickING OVER people -- get over it! Support the baseball team and all other sports as they start their seasons! Floss your purple and gold and support your tigers for 2012 for frick's sake! Take your tampons out, grab a handful of sack and cheer on LSU for whatever comes our way. Geaux Tigers!

P.S. I like McShay, but like any TV assbag, he can always toss out a stupid comment to stir things up so people cling to him. For this one, frick YOU TODD!

Bama teaches each player to "dominate" each play and make the player in front of you quit! Looks like they accomplished it for Randle according to he analysis. Great talent. Surprised he didn't want to have a big year with Mett throwing the ball. Hopefully he will have great success in the NFL though.

If coaching is at fault, it would be for lack of team motivation and preparedness because this is the playcalling that won LSU 13 consecutive games.
You can whine about gameplans, JJ and RR all day, but it boils down to basic football.
No run no PA, no time no throw.
This worked in LSU's favor vs the fanciest of playcalling often during the 13 game streak.

Publish this magic playbook that succeeds when you can't block your man.
Every cellar dwelling program in America would pay dearly for a copy.

Why is this? Does it not bother you that he did not appear to give 100% the whole game? Is that not a valid critique when discussing a first round pick? I saw at least two instances of him failing two blocks on the edge. Maybe it does not make a difference, but I'd sure take it into consideration and not ignore it as you suggest.
