Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose has secured one of the richest shoe endorsement deals in history, a package that could pay him more than $200 million across the remainder of his career, a source told Yahoo! Sports.
Rose, the 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player, agreed to a 13-year deal to stay with Adidas that guarantees him $185 million. The deal includes incentives that could push the deal to more than $200 million, a source said.

I would love to know what goes on in that negotiation where Adidas says "Alright we will guarantee $185 million but that last 15 he has to earn with incentives!"

this is an outstanding comment
You give me a guaranteed 185, you can say that I have to find a way to get to the moon and rake an Adidas sign in it for an extra 15, and I'll say OK. Who cares?
