Argue like a bunch of dumb arse chimps over what fried chicken you think is the best in this thread

Personally my favorites are

Mr. Ed's
Popeye's
Krispy Krunch gas station chicken

I swear Popeyes cooks the smallest chicken I have ever seen and the service is deplorable

Popeyes is the king of fast food chicken. I think Gus' in Memphis is the best that I've had, but McHardy's yesterday was great. Perhaps it was because of my good mood and the beautiful weather on the parade route.

ETA: In Baton Rouge, Delpit's gets my vote. I haven't had Stockyard Cafe but I've heard good things.

Popeye's is my favorite chain fast food with Bojangles in second place.

If we are talking a restaurant I always liked Dunbar's and I think Willie Mae's is waaaaaay overrated

Speaking of Popeyes I was there about 2 years ago and asked for the mardi gras dipping sauce and the lady said that they did not have it anymore. I said damn I thought that was a popular sauce and she said oh it was our most popular but come to find out it was killing people. She then looked at me and said I was not supposed to tell you that. She then handed me my change and said have a good day.

Popeyes and it is not even close (for me) but as stated above..... the pieces are almost cornish hen sized.

Oh....they have also started watering down the red beans. Last time I had them, they were actually very watery thin.

I wish they would just raise the damn price instead of finding ways to destroy the quality.

Stockyard OK. Leaders is really good. Haven't had Delpits but will soon. Krispy Krunchy is garbage and thats a fact. I know exactly where thay get it from and how its prepared.
