Churchs for the chains.
Royal Cajun in Marksville is good for a small place.

I'm seriously thinking about a switch to a new chicken place next time I get fried chicken. In fact, my mind is made up. Next time I get chicken, I will give churchs a try.

Popeyes does have some midget arse chicken. I'm not going to talk about the best. That's retarded.

KFC original recipe.
Eta: there are very few KFC's that I'll even eat at, but the clean, well managed ones are legit.

Popeye's. Strangely enough, the best fried chicken I've had (non-fast food) was from a LongHorn's Steakhouse.

Old Country Store in Lorman, MS makes some damn fine yardbird. As far as regular chicken, my vote goes to Popeyes

Popeyes, hand's down.
I always go through the drive through so as long as I get what I paid for, the service doesn't mean anything.
The stuff is awesome.
A close second is Publix. Their spicy wings are the bomb.
