Im an egg guy and like them all ways. I scramble eggs with just a tablespoon of water in a non stick pan over low heat. Just until firm. Dont like them cooked fast it makes them tough. Sprinkle with chives salt and pepper and a great breakfast.

I also eat them during the day when I'm running around because they are light, full of protein and low in calories as well as fill me up. This, the coffee and the oatmeal are the only items I'll eat at McDonalds. But where to get them later in the day without having to stop too long? Other than Waffle House I just don't know. Any ideas? I try to stay light during the day and only eat a full lunch on occasion.

IHOP?

Sonic?

I love eggs too, but I am home during the day and scramble them at will. With green onion and a touch of sharp cheddar in a flour tortilla is my thing this week.

Can you just cook them and reheat later? Tiny little ice chest?

Order ahead and get them to go if you're near an all day breakfast joint. Best I got.

Where to get eggs in the middle of the day whilst not at home or the Waffle House. The answer remains to be seen..

Does Ronco make a portable scrambled egg cooker that plugs in the car cigarette lighter? End of problem.

If not, I gotta Ron Popeele on the phone. $$$MILLIONS$$$

WTF? Like a couple quail eggs?

Ya'll aren't a whole lot of help.

I was hoping someone would tell me a local mom and pop place so I didn't have to get scorned for a chain egg.

Question is Drive Thru eggs. Waffle House is seventeen minutes and a bunch of "GOOD MORNING!!!" "GOOD AFTERNOON!"

I'd rather rub my arse with a wasp nest than listen to that.

Louie's
The Broken Egg
Another Broken Egg

Pretty much any diner and most of the cafe's in BR will scramble an egg for you. If you ask really nice, Ivar's will thrown a fried egg on top of a burger. I'd wager that if you asked really really nicely they'd scramble one for you.

A scrambled egg is a ruined egg.

Why do this? My Mom taught me to do this when I was little, but I always thought it was pointless. Once I got to 10 or so, I asked her why she does this. Her response was, "I don't know, my Mother taught me this way"

you ever add milk to your eggs? makes them really fluffy and nice. and add the chives to the eggs instead of on top, really adds to the flavor

I've always added water to scrambled and milk to an omelette. As noted above it is because I was told to.

Skillet you have to much time on your hands.

Really regardless of what you add I find low and slow is better than high hot and fast.

At least that is what I prefer.

So you're looking for a drive-thru place that sells breakfast all day or something mom/popish? Doesn't Jack in the Box sell breakfast all day? I don't actually eat their food (just their milkshakes every once in a while) so I'm not sure.
