I saw Trey Quinn last night too, but Leonard Fournette is the best in state player by far. I do think Quinn is the best WR and probably in the top 5 in state for 2014
I honestly dont think its by far, you rarely see receivers do the things Quinn do on the field. Im thinking its 1A/1B like Earl said.

Ive seen Noil plenty, I know he is unstoppable with the ball in his hands. Not sure if he has Quinn's ball skills because he rarely plays receiver.

Top 5
Leonard fournette
Devante "speedy" noil
Gerald Willis
Cameron Robinson
Milachi Dupree
After that it is hootie jones
Then I think it's Quinn.
Quinn is good and all don't get me wrong. Probably some of the best hands I've seen in a while at this level, and great routes , but at the same time he is drowned by many 5 star guys that have offers from every school in the country such as Willis, fournette and Robinson. And don't be suprised to see Dupree a 5 star as well.

I'm not sure Noil's and Dupre's stats. I'm going more on potential and measurables than stats.
I should clarify. I probably shouldn't have said that I thought Noil and Dupre are probably ahead of Quinn. From all I know/seen of Quinn, he certainly looks like an exceptional talent. I just meant among Noil, Dupre and Quinn, I'm not sure who might be the best. They all offer something incredible.
Noil is known for incredible open-field moves. Dupre is 6-4 and has a 40-inch vertical leap. Quinn supposedly can run in the 4.3 range and has great ball skills. I want LSU to sign all three.
Get those guys, along with Fournette, Robinson, Jones, Willis, Brumfield, Clapp, etc, and that is an in-state class for the ages in the making.

You're a karr homer. Quinn is better than all those guys.

Fournette will be the consensus #1 guy.
Cameron Robinson will be #2 and will be an eventual consensus 5*.
Laurence Jones and Gerald Willis both have 5* potential and most likely at least one of them earns 5* status.
Next you have Jacory Washington (Westlake TE), Malachi Dupre (Curtis WR), Speedy Noil (Karr ATH), Trey Quinn (Barbe (WR), Garrett Brumfield (U-High OL), Cameron Sims (Ouachita WR), William Clapp (Bro Martin OL), and Kenny Young (Curtis LB), Terrance Alexander (Curtis DB), Davon Godchaux (Plaquemines DE), Gerrald McDowell (Covington DT), Sione Palelei (East Ascension ATH), and Rae Juan Marbley (Destrehan LB).
Competing for the top QB spot in the state are:
Donovan Isom (Destrehan)
Quentin Gibson (Shaw)
Quin Graves (OCS)
Glenn Cueillette (Mandeville)
(Although none of the above QBs is an LSU offer, IMO).

Idk Quinn's vertical but I guarantee its up there pretty high. If Quinn doesn't get his 5th star something is definately wrong with the scouting services( not that that is unheard of). He really has it all speed, hands ( haven't seen him drop a pass that's touched his hands honestly), vertical and great routes. He isn't 6'4 but 6' or 6'1 isn't bad idk what else he has to do to become a 5 star WR...

He is simply a fierce competitor. The biggest play he made was recovering the second on-side kick. As he said in his interview, he hates losing more than he likes winning!

Wow, that's pretty awesome. Talk about leaving it all on the field.

I have seen Willis a couple of times this year. In my opinion it's easier to find running backs and receivers than dominant defensive lineman. I saw him tackle the Destrehan QB and running back at the same time during a hand off. The Destrehan QB is probably 6'4" 225lbs and Willis made it look easy tackling both of them. Willis has a great motor and is very aggressive. To me Willis is more important than Quinn or Fournette. I love both of those guys and want them here but we have plenty of running back depth and never have problems recruiting running backs. Also we don't have a burning need for any more 6'0" receivers. That said we should get all of them cause we need to recruit our back yard.

LSU's staff needs pull out all the stops to make sure they don't lose Quinn to A&M. Kid is a stud and will be a force at the next level.

#5 from st aug was best in state last year, this year and will be next year......
Posted on 12/1/12 at 2:02 pm to Westlakeguy10
Quinn's a stud, no doubt about it. But, hes not #1 in state next year. The 2014 class is as good as its ever been in Louisiana. Fournette is without a doubt #1. Hes the #1 RB and a top 3 player in the nation. Hootie Jones is #1-2 safety and top 20 player in the nation. Cameron Robinson is a top 5 OL and top 50 in the nation. Gerald Willis is a top 5 DE and top 60 in the nation. I put Quinn and Speedy Noil right next to each other.
Hes a great player, dont get me wrong, but the top 5 players in the state next year are as good as it gets in any state, and in the nation.

Quinn is as good as it gets at WR. Go watch him next weekend.
They don't have Sr WR's as polished, and he's a JR.
He should be top 5 nationally at WR. He surely would be if he were black.

Y'all obviously haven't seen him play if y'all think its not him and fournette

Quinn certainly is a beast.
He's gonna look good in PnG catching TDs!

Who gives a shite who #1 is, especially when most of these guys don't even play the same position. The '14 class is so deep with top level talent there will be guys ranked 8-12 that would be top 5 any other year.
