Man, would love to see him throwing to Randle. The way RR gets open deep, he could have had a ridiculous number of long TDs had he chosen to stay. Oh well. Not to be. Hopefully, those other guys step up. Passing game looks good with Mett next year.

this is what I dont get, If im RR, yea i want to get paid but damn, with that guy throwing to you you have the POTENTIAL to be a top ten draft pick with big numbers, i mean how many top WR's are going in next years draft? i think Mett is going to be the Cam Newton of next year...no one is going to see him coming...im telling you he is going to blow it up and if I was RR id want to take the rewards of it...Rshep with a big year next year and his athletic talents could get paid....i think RR should stay but too late now...

He had really good mechanics even then. He has enough arm strength to be able to consistently "get on top of the ball" when he releases. That lessens the chance of him having alot of passes sail on him. He also has a lot of velocity on his passes which will help him get into tight windows.

What will be the reason he didn't see the field over JJ and Lee?

MAYBE BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE A WHOLE SUMMER/OFFSEASON OF TAKING REPS WITH THE 1ST TEAM

you jackass, its been almost 3 fricking weeks why are you still taking shots at this team?

Mettenberger is the QB I thought Miles should have brought in against Alabama...

I can't wait to see him next year. In my opinion he has the best arm strength since Bert Jones played for us.

He has great mechanics, has a strong arm, and is accurate. All this looks great in tshirt and shorts. I sure hope it translates on the field.. But I think the hype and hysteria needs to be curbed a little.

Don't think we've had a pocket passer like him since Tommy Hodson? Anyone?
Also saw something Mett wrote the other day that he has learned not to zip the ball all the time. Put touch when needed. Can't wait....

Sir Rohan could sling the rock in the pocket.

Owns a few SEC records.

Weird. Watching that video was like sipping from the holy grail. I feel rejuvenated as a fan.

No kidding.

For your health... watch it.

Yeah, really good point. Saw him play in JC. He does keep the nose of the ball down. Less passes sail; fewer INTs.

I noticed this too..but overall arm strength id give him a B+...as of last year he looked like he had about the second strongest arm on the team..first being Randall...pretty crazy how two unclassmen can throw harder than two seniors...oh well
