Bama was #2 on 42 of 59 ballots

Only reason I can see OSU falling is the K-State ISU game. Before that game, ISU was over .500, after that game, they are .500.

No they played both teams, Im fairly certain it is a wash.

I guess my logic only applies to "quality losses" though.

Alabama: Maybe a slight bump because their loss is now 13-0

OSU: Their loss WAS a team over .500, now they're AT .500

LSU: OU won this week, WVU won this week, and nobody else on our schedule played.

Does this mean we actually gave Bama a boost and dropped points ourselves because we won?

That's what I would think, but the ONLY reason I can see OSU actually losing points is because the team they lost to is no longer OVER .500. It makes zero sense though.

that means Oklahoma State got 29.5% of the second place votes.

They might have gotten higher than that.

I am sure sure at least one person has them 4 or lower, negating some 2nd place votes

When do they publish who each coach voted?

David Shaw and a couple of other PAC 12 coaches probably voted Oklahoma State behind Stanford.

I expected more from the Coaches. If their team had won a conference championship, they would want to play in the title game.

this vote is bogus

even the coaches do not care about conference titles
