lsumatt, how did you get to become so good at deciphering the bcs numbers?

Having the coaches poll should be enough to figure out where things are going to go, imo. They usually come pretty close to each other.
I think the human polls will not be released until the BCS selection show.

I have a PhD in engineering, but I don't think the math is that hard overall. The computers are complicated though and I understand how they work and have reproduced Colley. More than anything, just watching polls for years it is pretty predictable what will happen

Check out this thread on the SECrant...
"Washington Times reporter Patrick Stevens, who didn't get to watch much of Saturday's games due to work obligations, said he will vote Alabama No. 2 "by a nose."
This fricker should be tar and feathered for this bullshite. It doesn't matter if he was pro-OSU or Pro-Bama.

do you teach math or engineering? My son is in engineering and other than I think Diff Equations is done with math but lots of eng left ... although he's in environmental. IF he can pass statics next go round!

It really isn't hard to learn the behavior of voters over the years. I really think LSU fans understand as good as anyone out there.

not me cattus! I need the Rant! Well, not the rantards ... but the Rant in general! And lsumatt of course!

Best case scenario = bama finishes .0001 points behind OSU
Oh i can see it now

He is guessing and hoping he is right. It is too close to call. When the Coaches Poll is released we should know for sure
Posted on 12/4/11 at 12:40 am to lsumatt
Frankly it's a no-brainer and shouldn't be a tossup at all. It's a travesty that this is even being debated. The push for Bama is shameful and wouldn't happen if were okie was a name-brand.

One can only hope. Someone else deserves a shot at LSU. Besides, I am quite sure Cowpokes taste better to Tigers than Red Elephants do.

BCS Guru predicts Okla St #2 in BCS
I trust Matt over this bozo. He was pretty awful on his projection throughout the year.
Matt = money

Okie st really showed up tonight. Very impressive.

I think these guys are guessing. They know it is about 50/50 - if they are right they have legitimacy over the likes of Palm and Edwards who are saying the opposite.
Ok State needs 25% of the vote. All signs point to Ok State being in that ballpark but it is way to close to call.

I hate how ESPN talking loud about Alabama today like they played a game.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma St played a game tonight and blew out their rival and ESPN are whispering about it.
