"Retooling" our schedule would probably be the worst idea ever.
With Mett and our overall depth we are guaranteed to be #1/#2 week 1.
If we take care of business and beat up all the teams we're supposed to and lose 0-1 games in the SEC, our OOC games don't mean shite and we'll be playing in a BCS bowl.

because I think LSU's conditioning and depth in the offseason were even more intense because they needed to be ready for the season opener

Every season isn't the same. LSU may need something beside Towson on the schedule which really is an embarrassment. LSU already plays N. Texas. No one, even the fans care about the Towson game.

frick that shite. That schedule is kick arse, best ever in the history of LSU. You know why? Because no way in hell any of those games are played during the daytime. The "somewhere fun" to go will be Death Valley at night time.
