going forward.

The game did appear to be bigger than Lee on Saturday> I love the kid and love what he has done for our team. I hope he bounces back, but he had a spooked look about him.

I think Miles is going give JJ more snaps the rest of the year. I really hope Lee can bounce back and play well when he gets the chance, but I believe Miles is going to ride JJ a lot more.

As long as we win I am fine with whatever Miles does.

No, the roles will resume as they did before Alabama.

Jarrett lee is still 9-0 this year as a starter

Isn't that how it works?

I think Western Kentucky will be a good game for Lee to get back into the swing of things. But going forward, he needs to overcome his phobia of getting hit if he wants to play a major role in the big games they have left.

THis.

I expect them both to continue to get snaps. Whichever QB presents a better chance of victory vs. a particualr oponent should get the lion's share of snaps. I have no idea who should start, nor do I care.

^This.

It was ONE game against a semi-pro defense, you know, the best defense in college football? Lee did not play well, but the pressure was there for sure. I'm sure that Lee is disappointed. And thankfully, LSU is deep enough to have another QB that can run and stretch the field, get to the perimeter, that's what worked and won this game. JJ played well. But LSU will not play another defense close to Alabama and we will keep the status quo. Lee will continue to start and JJ will be used as required.

Someone said it earlier. If we can run out of the power I, Lee is our QB. If we can't, JJ comes in to run the option.

Lee will bounce back, JJ will build on the success he had, and our offense will get back on it's feet and win the rest of the games by double digits.

Jefferson is a great situational qb. I just so happened that the entire game reflected the situation that represents his strength.

It was clear early on that the passing game was not going to be there. So, instead of being one dimensional with Lee, we were one dimensional with Jefferson, since he can provide more variety within the one dimension.

LSU and 'Bamas' defenses take away elements of the offense--even very good offenses. We were fortunate to be in a situation where we could give up that element, and still have some variety in our offense.

Lee threw int # 2 and 3 agaisnt one of the nation's best two defenses--McCarron threw #4 and 5. Neither qb's performance reflected their lack of ability as much as it reflected the defenses' exceptional ability.

We will not see another defense like Bama agin unless we have a re-match, which I doubt will happen. Bama got in Lee's head. No one else will.
He needs to play a lot in the coming weeks to be ready for Arky. The dual Qbs is working and will be effective against Arky.

JJ and Ford carried LSU offensively on Sat. night - there is NO disputing that. JJ could/should have had 2 TD passes. His decision making was sound - similar to Lee's against Oregon.

I have always thought that to win a National Championship in college you NEED a QB that will run at times. See Andrew Luck. Lee has NEVER demonstrated that ability or "want" as Miles likes to say. Until Lee at least gives some effort on running w football when the opportunity is there I agree that Miles will be more inclined to use JJ in the big games.

However, if our receivers over-match the DB's and the O-line is blocking well Lee is our best option to win w the passing game. It's all about matchups and JJ was PERFECT for 'Bama's D.

Everyone knows that the secret to beating Ala. is by running the football - it's just very, very difficult to do as we all found out Sat. night. The running game just opens up the passing alleys and that's football. Props to JJ. He played well!

as of now the remaining teams on the schedule can be beaten with the same approach of the first few games before the bama game. studthorpe still wants to pound it and set up the play action and still have that piece for jefferson. you get to a situation like the bama game and you tweak your approach. i think jj will see more work but it will be more like it was before. if jj wasn't benched last season after all those poor starts i cant see them yanking lee for 2 bad throws.

Jj needs more snaps. JL shits the bed against higher competition. Matter of fact, if jj had more playing time going into this game, we probably win by 2 td's. I am not crazy about jj either, but maybe the staff had it right all along by having him the starter
