What about if JJ comes in does well, and lee struggles yet miles won't put JJ cuz the fans are always on the rag so we lose a game and lee still plays and we lose another then finally JJ comes in but it's to late then all da fans is pissy cuz miles ain't pulled him earlier

If Lee or JJ is the predominant QB in a game that LSu loses, there will be fans who will not forgive Les for it.

I think if he makes us lose, he should go back to jail

Ya'll all need to watch 2007 and 2010 Florida highlights. 2007 Matt F started and played pretty good but Ryan P came in and made some very big plays. 2010 JJ played pretty good but JL came in and made some big plays when we needed it. The fans need to chill out and let the guys play. GEAUX TIGERS EVERYONE OF THEM

The only way JJ should play is if Lee gets injured or absolutely shits his pants on the field.

You are dumb! How could JJ's plays lead us to a loss??? How?? If he got in after Lee we would be in a comfortable lead to where he couldn't lose it.

I look at it like this. Lee's the man. However, if Lee has an off day, we now have an experienced and capable backup. Miles is not going to bench Lee for JJ unless Lee's play warrants it. And, in the situation that JJ has to resume a starting roll, He's going to be motivated like never before. As long as miles only uses JJ when necessary, LSU is a stronger team for having him available!

Maybe you missed the part where, with the score tied at 0-0, we had 4th and goal and was a nanosecond from 4th and 6, right as we exchanged QBs. Because I certainlly missed the part where LSU had a comfortable lead.

Say that happens at a time, well, shucks, I don't know, like last year vs. Tenn. Well ... something's hitting the fan.

Bump.

I was always a big supporter of Jordan Jefferson coming back this season and being used in certain spots to help us win. Without him, we aren't SEC Champions. People forget that. And even though his play didn't keep us from an SEC title or the national championship game, a lot of people would argue that his play (along with the playcalling) hurt us big time once we got there.

Just thought it would be interesting to look back on this thread.

Does your answer change from what it was back then, even though we did end up making the national championship? What is your opinion on Miles?

Nice bump!!!

Seems like all the fans knew that Jefferson didn't need to start, just play a small role. Wish Les would have read this thread.

Indeed.

I think they forgive him, though.

People will forgive, but not forget.
