I think any loss, regardless of what Jefferson does or doesn't do, is going to be blamed on Jefferson and Miles for reinstating him.

If we lose to Florida and Jefferson doesn't take a snap or doesn't play a meaningful role, you can bet your arse that there will a contingent of fans and rantards that blame Jefferson.

They've been blaming Jefferson for everything under the sun for the last two years, why would they stop now?

I thought about that. They'll say that JJ ruined the team's chemistry and that it's his fault for distracting the team.

JJ should refuse to play this year. He can't win.

If a plane ever crashes into the stadium before a game and kills 1,775 people, do you think we can ever forgive the pilot?

You think Lee is that fragile and incompetent, Max?

The crash would be JJ's fault.

It all is.

What if from the 5 yard line redzone...the defense goes zero coverage and the receivers don't get open and Lee isn't able to run to the goal line thus causing a loss.

For some small percentage of fans this is probably true. I plan not to pay much attention to those folks and would encourage everyone else to do the same.

yea that's why i think Miles is in a lose-lose situation unless this team makes it to Atlanta.

what it its from the 5 yard line redzone.. JJ in the game the box is stacked, single coverage on the WRs. RR gets wide open and JJ hits him in the feet witht the ball causing a loss?

You see that team over there in the Crimson and White? They are pretty damned good. You would STILL not be able to forgive Miles for losing to a team that is just as good as LSU? Get your feelings off your sleeve.
not if playing Lee the full game would have given us a better chance

How do you determine that conclusively?

Sure, but the fact of the matter is that this is going to be assumed regardless of outcome by many on this board.

Hell, right now, there is a large contingent of people who claim that Lee "saved" us in the Alabama game last year.

Like I said earlier, this will only go down a few ways if we lose:

We lose with no QB mistakes - Jefferson's fault

We lose with Lee making crucial mistakes - Jefferson's fault

We lose with Jefferson making crucial mistakes - Jefferson's fault

when JJ sits in the pocket, makes slow reads, gets sacked, or runs into linebackers...that will be a give away

This thread and the posts in it illustrate the problem with JJ coming back onto the team.

The title of this thread shows that the sensitive side is not the LSU fans, but the anti-JJ nags.

Exactly!!! Everyone gives JL credit for being tough as nails (mentally) and sticking it out after his Fr. disaster. Now, suddenly as a Sr. he is as fragile as they come? Get real!

All true players thrive on competition- JL and JJ included. The team chemistry is not that fragile. I can assure you the players want to win even more than the fans. JJ being suspended did not spell doom as many predicted. JJ returning will likewise not spell doom.

Miles knows how to deal with his team. Wait and see. All is good!
