I agree. I hope they have a plan to put Andy back as a salesman.
It's not that I mind Andy being the manager, but he's not Michael Scott. He has Scott-like tendencies, but Andy's more aware, although I'm not sure that's the correct word.

I guess I'm the only one who thought this episode sucked.

The sappiness since about season 4 has sucked. The first few seasons it seemed really like a natural part of the show. Now it just seems forced and I cant help but roll my eyes.

as a side note, I was a big fan of Spader on Boston Legal, he just has that screen presence where he could tell you anything and no matter what he says, it's interesting and captivating. I'm glad the writers are playing on that with this role

Oh, and whoever asked how long he was going to be there, he's signed on as a regular and will appear in a minimum of 15 episodes this season

I thought I would hate Spader, but I think he kind of fits in. He's weird, but he's also got some interesting things to say.

Andy as the new boss...I don't know. Isn't he regarded as the worst salesman in the office and thought of by Spader to be in the loser crowd?

Whatever the do with this series from here on out, just give me more Daryl. And less Jim and Pam sad eyes.

He was on the winner side until he confronted Spader about it.

Was the whole winner loser list nothing more than a motivational tool and a way to get the office behind Andy? I noticed what I thought was a smile on Spader's face after Andy's rant.

I liked the episode and I have no problem with Andy at the helm.

Jim and Pam will be worthless again this season because of her damn ovaries.

At the very end.

I am sure he dropped in on purpose.

It had one column with Pam, Cece, New Baby and the other column said something like everyone else.

I didn't think it was very funny and I'm a huge Spader fan (though mainly his dramatic work). I'm calling it now:

Steve Carell : The Office :: Mischa Barton : The OC

Ah, yes...that's right. I remember now that my DVR cut the last bit off and being really pissed about it. That's why I missed it.

Preesh.

I actually just realized that I didn't notice Michael being gone either. I liked this episode a lot. It actually was much better than Parks and Rec. Been awhile since that was true.

Office was okay. Needed more Spader.

Parks was okay, but needed more Swanson.

Community is so meta at this point, it's less about the laughs and more about the "I see what you did there."

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING, WARNING

I liked the new episode. Obviously not the same without Michael, but funny.

Agree with that. I still love it, but the episodes are pretty hit or miss sometimes, and you kinda feel like they're trying too hard. Some of its funniest moments are when it's just being silly (like Troy and the flying cats).
