Why are people thinking what JJ did was ok?

It amazing that no matter what is found to show JJ was involved in this fight, people try to make it sound as though he was completely innocent.

Because he is the QB at LSU. If the Oregon QB did that they all would want him to get booted

We're tired of hearing about it. If he did what he did so what. I honestly am not outraged

I think people want the process to play out before rushing to judgement.

I don't think I've seen one person say this. Not one.

Can you link one?

Doesn't the police report just confirm the same stupid story that broke almost a week ago. WHO CARES.

1. I don't know what he did. I've seen no compelling evidence to convince me that anyone posting on this site knows what he did.

2. It was a bar fight. My suspicion is that all parties involved behaved idiotically.

3. Yet, JJ is being tied to the stake.

4. The way the members of this forum, the BR community at large, and the BRPD have conducted themselves the last week has far surpassed the line of absurdity.

5. If he did kick someone in the head while they were down, he deserves some punishment for sure, but still not the crucifixion he is receiving.

6. Did anyone mention how absurd this all is?

I dont think he is innocent but rather they are all guilty.

Basically boys being boys and to get the police involved and cause all this drama over a bar fight is insane. Makes the ones crying to cops look like major pussies. I cant imagine a real marine doing this EVER!

I suppose because so get so caught up in sports that if affects their ability to understand the seriousness of certain situations.

So far, I myself have learned that because a guy apparently treated his GF (who- if she were my daughter- wouldn't be frequenting the places he is likely to hang out) badly, it gives other private citizens the right to commit what appears to be 2nd degree battery on him. Oh- and that certain local athletes should have the right to enforce a restraining order taken out (with the local police department) by a girl they met in a bar.

But all is well in Rantville.

The report is a witness' story ... a witness who seems to be friends with the injured dude.

But I'm with you ... at this point I want it over. LSU by 10!

Because it's not proven that he was directly in the fight as of yet.

I agree. I am not saying he is guilty, just not innocent.

No one ever said he was completely innocent. Ever.

He shouldn't be publicly lynched because he was in a fight, especially when no one has all the facts yet. Put your torch and pitchfork down.
