Has it been confirmed that the marine was the one that got kicked in the head? I was under the impression the guy thats still in the hospital with the broken bones was the one who was kicked...

A couple of things here.
First, Oregon fans are idiots to be outraged over anything having to do with the brawl at this early juncture.
Second, Tony (iirc) is a vet himself, so he is always going to be a bit short-fused with things involving servicemen/women.
and LMJ did not "beat" his girlfriend. (Which is why Oregon Register Guard beat writer Rob Mosely aka @DuckFootball suggested that Oregon fans not rush to conclusions prematurely.) Initially LMJ's situation seemed far worse than it actually was.
First, Oregon fans are idiots to be outraged over anything having to do with the brawl at this early juncture.

Since when did we think any of these players were different from any other players in the NCAA. It's LSU job to gather talent on their roster. We get kids to play football. We don't recruit kids because they are nice. Jefferson is an A hole, I hate the fact he thinks he is actually a good QB. He reminds me of RP. In all honesty, I want another NC, so I could care less how he is off the field and as long as he gets his shite together on the field and helps us win games!

I've seen more then my fair share of marines do a number on some poor bastard at a bar. I've seen lots of badasses honk their horn as an excuse to start shite with whomever they were honking at
I heard the Marine was the guy that came to their aid from the bar after they were pulled from the car. Anyone hear this today on Songy's show? I did.

Ok so? Its not a marines duty to do that....god bless them all but your saying if you and your friends got in a fight and a guy came out of no where to help the other guys you wouldnt touch him because he might be a marine?

he transfered because hes behind the best running back in the country lamicheal james, behind kenjon barner who is barely a drop off, and 2 incoming true freshman ( freshman de anthony thomas has been called the best football player to ever come out of los angeles by alot of people, 5* in 4 different positions by Scout coming out of highschool), that puts him at 5th on the depth chart, would you wanna sit behind all that? he couldnt grasp oregons offense, i was hoping he would have a break out year, the kid is a class act, and a great athlete, whish him the best of luck at Baylor!

Man i worked at a bar for 3 years in college, I truly respect what the armed forces do for our country, but usually when something was going down and one of them was involved, they were acting like bad asses and thinking you owed them something.
- point being i doubt the marine was "some innocent guy" that just got thrown to the ground and kicked in the head

This is quite bothersome. It's mostly a reflection on our society as a whole...win at all costs.
I, along with many on this board believe that integrity and character are irreplaceable traits in any person, including student athletes.
