I think so, but Chip did what he felt he had to do. Blount performed his "act" on the big screen. I don't think it was just the punch, but his reaction following it.
I don't blame Chip for doing what he did. PR is a bitch.

I'm sick of people putting the marine on the pedestal (just like some athletes are).
I know alot of Marines who are assholes. That's the nature of the beast. I know football players who are jerks as well...
I guess if an average joe was beat up, it's okay...but a Marine?!?

He got harrasment as she had NO injuries. She went over to his apartment where he had a friend from home visiting whom she thought was the new girlfriend and wouldn't leave. She took his car key and he chased her to get it back.
Don't worry. Whoever the OP is cherry picked a few twitters to try and stir stuff up. I can assure you this is not a common feeling amongst duck fans.

im stationed with marines, they always are fighting. kid was prolly asking for it. but i guess this is why there is a curfew!

If the driver was pulled from the truck why didnt the truck idle off into the crowd of people?
I seriously doubt that he asked said players if they could hold off beating his arse until he put the truck in park....

I agree with Tony, every single marine that has ever lived is a good person. Also, I make it a point when I see that I am about to get in a fight to ask the question "Are you a marine?" If the answer is "yes" I try my damndest to sucker punch them.

I think those comments are a good example of cherry picking. From what I've read most have been very level headed regarding this stuff having been through it the past couple of year. Yes every fanbase has their idiots
Most of them don't for a couple of reasons. First they believe JJ is more prone to making mistakes and with him in LSU's passing game isn't as good. Second most Oregon fans want to compete against a complete LSU team because if they win they don't want to have the idea it may have been due to people suspended.
