I was checked once while fishing on Caney Lake, probably 20 years ago.

I have never been checked while hunting.

At Grand Isle a few weeks ago, but they just wanted to look at the fish and take some survey. Did not ask for licenses, which was a good thing because I did not have one on me.

Duck hunting the Delta w/AlxTgr and Tigerfoot. Forgot my Lifetime license, which had my duck stamp on it, yet they let me slide. Rare of them.

Got two tickets prior to that for no life jacket in a kayak/canoe.

Dove season two years ago. All legal, but I did get a warning because of the empty beer cans under my folding chair...

Who knew you couldn't dove hunt and drink?

about 15 yrs ago on Toledo Bend. Man it was fricked up. I was about 10 i guess, and we were fishing a tournament. Horrible weather, about 40 degrees, pouring rain, shitty. We were tearin em up though! Probably had 60 lbs between the myself, my dad and my unlce. Well be the little kid and pussy that i was at the time, i was too cold and wanted to sit in the truck. They dropped me off at the dock and went back to fish right in that area for about 30 more minutes. They pull back up put the boat on the trailer and since i wasnt in the boat when the game warden saw them pull up, fined both of them, took the fish, all that shite.

At least 3 to 4 times a year. Easy targets.

I've been checked for life jackets, but they have never looked in my ice chest, or checked my license.

It amazes me how many people that I hunt with that don't think twice about popping a beer and driving down the road, but will absolutely shite themselves with fear if have you end with with 25 instead of 24 ducks.

I get checked regularly here. They love to park at the boat launch and check everyone as the launch / pickup. Last check for me was Friday.

As long as you have registration/license,life jackets and a bit of common sense it goes by in about a minute. Usually hand him the paperwork, open the live well, they take an inspection and give you a have a nice day with a smile.

From talking with other boaters it sounds like they are giving automatic tickets with no warnings for anything that is outside of the regulations.
