Three players linked to Shapiro's BS that fall within the 4 year statute have been cleared...Robert Marve, Bryce Brown, and Orson Charles.

Shapiro's list is slowly shrinking.

Those "rulings" really don't mean anything. The NCAA is just saying until we tell you other wise they can play.

Tostitos bag are in the Orange bowl/orange jersey's pic....that Shapiro claims was at the fiesta bowl

The pic of the interference is what I posted to PROVE that Shapiro's "fiesta bowl" pic was actually NOT a fiesta bowl pic.

There wasn't anything untruthful said in that pictures caption. That was obviously a pic taken ON THE FIELD and BEFORE THE LOSS TO OSU IN THE FIESTA.

Miami had obviously just won their last home game that year, to put them in the BCSNC game. The Tostito bag and the Fiesta Bowl logo on the side of the hat make that kind of clear.

You dismiss the sixty- plus other incriminating photos and play on semantics in one caption to call Shapiro a liar in this situation? Why are you LOLing at other people, again?

That's because it was probably actually from this game which was the win that put them in the Fiesta. Still, how does it dispute that these guys associated with him?

You are really going to go with the fact that this guy was in all of these pictures with all of these players and it is just a coincidence? Air tight.

You know, besides the fact that Tyrone Moss and eight other players who didn't want to be labeled snitches corroborated the stories to Yahoo.

Robinson made sure that he had corroboration for most of it. He's got other witnesses talking, shop owners, etc. If you've got evidence and other people backing up 80% of his claims and you ignore the other 20%... well, Miami is still fricked.

If this shite doesn't warrant the death penalty, then what will? This offseason has marked the beginning of the end of the governing body known as the NCAA.

The NCAA's vice president for enforcement, Julie Roe Lach, spoke to the New York Times on Wednesday regarding possible penalties. Though she wasn't allowed to speak directly about Miami considering it is an open and active case, she did note that there has been little discussion regarding the most serious penalties possible.

"I have not heard it turn much to television bans or the death penalty," Lach told the Times. "The majority of the ideas or support I keep hearing relate toward suspensions or postseason bans being the most powerful."

The Times reports that the television ban hasn't been handed down to a major program in 15 years while the "death penalty" was last enforced with Southern Methodist University as ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary series highlighted earlier this year.

The reason the television ban isn't considered an option is that it would hurt all of the ACC schools that weren't involved in the Miami scandal.

1. Randy Shannon knew he was a bad apple and wanted nothing to do with him and told his players/coaches that if they were EVER caught near him they would be GONE. Shapiro and Shannon hated each other.

2. The school told him to fck off when they found out he was corrupt. They took his donations as they would any other booster while they thought he was legit.

3. Former players didn't help him when he went broke in 2008. They didn't speak to him, give him money, etc.

^^^ this is why he's going after Miami and exactly why you can't believe everything he says. He's bitter. How many times have you known bitter people to go off and tell false stories just to get back at someone?

You know that would be plausable if it was just his word against Miami. He provided photo's ,receipts . and has eye witnesses that backed up his stories.

The NCAA informed University of Miami administrators it will consider invoking its “willful violators” clause and make an exception to the traditional four-year statute of limitations in the Nevin Shapiro case, a university source told Yahoo! Sports.

quote:

Traditionally, the NCAA’s bylaws would only allow it to sanction the Hurricanes for infractions that occurred during the four years prior to receiving a letter of inquiry from investigators. For example, if Miami received a letter of inquiry for a case on Sept. 1, 2011, the NCAA could only sanction the school for applicable violations dating back to Sept. 1, 2007. But the clause – reserved for “a pattern of willful violations” – can spin a probe back to the earliest applicable infractions.

There's no proof regarding when those photos were taken and the receipts do not prove that those items were bought for UM players.

I can show you a receipt with my Discover card but that doesn't mean I bought Jordan Jefferson a $1000 watch.

Okay, how do you explain the receipts for suits that match up with a corroborating store clerk that says the suits were for a player. Expensive suits are generally tailored for you, so whomever was going to wear them tried them on. How do you deny that one?

Wow, the tickets for Hester to a Heat game where he bought the ring and the tickets and he proposed, that is all documented.

The proof is in the details. 20k pages, 1000 pixs and bank statements for 8 years.

Come on man, this is not fantasyland!
