For me, the football national championships are not nearly as cool as this was.
It'll always be the greatest LSU sports moment ever to me.

It was my earliest one. I still remember running around my living room screaming with my dad after he hit it.
Had chills the whole time while reading that article. Great read

By the way - my signature listing the phone number for the NCAA committee chairman Tim Weiser, was recently pulled, citing it as inappropriate.
Gee tigerdroppings, there was no profanity - just simply public information, and you choose to censor a forum?
You are psycho.

Last year, during Friday night game of the Moo State series, Warren was sitting a couple of rows in front of me, and as I expected he was a great guy, talked to everyone around and posed for pictures when asked....Great Tiger and yes I know CSB.....

I still remember where I was when it happened. One of the greatest single baseball moments I've ever witnessed.

I don't want to engage in hyperbole, but I think this is so obviously the finest non-football LSU sports moment, it is very difficult to name #2.
Because of the drama, backstory, stakes and outcome - it may be #1, period.
Warren Morris, I loved him as a Tiger and I like him as a banker.

I have a poster picture of the game winning homerun...signed by Skip and Warren..part of my collection... ....in the picture, as Warren is running the bases, the Miami players are falling to the ground in dis belief...

Any chance you could post a photo of this?
Think I saw this hanging up in an office a long time ago.

Truth is, the Tigers were in many ways their own worst enemy that day...yet so many strange things ultimately fell into place that allowed them to come back and win.
True. Neither team really played sharp that day. There was also the inning where Miami laid down like 3 bunts and we couldn't field one of them. Something that would come back to haunt us against USC two years later.
