I'm really worried about the guys being out in the 100 degree heat practicing. hopefully they can stay in the AC this Summer and get their work done. First game is indoors anyhow. what say you?

Practicing in the heat makes for the best conditioning. As long as there's water, they should be okay.

I'm sure they will be just fine.

Just think of those boys out there, in the heat, running around...they could hurt themselves!

If only we had a multimillion dollar practice facility, staffed by highly educated medical professionals...

Yes they'll be outdoors as will the high school teams in LA as well.

They would fly to Greenland where it was cooler.

I'm pretty sure LSU has always been in the deep south.

They may start earlier in the morning and later in the afternoon BUT this hear is typical of what we get each summer. Granted it's hot earlier this year but when august rolls around it will be normal august temps mid to upper 90's with a few spike days...

you can't base your entire fall practices on just the first game.

triple digits is a different animal. I really think it takes a toll on your body and mind after a few weeks. 90 degrees is way different that 100 degrees for sustained periods.

I just think Less would have them in better shape and feeling muc better about themsleves if they could get the work done indoors. allows them to go harder for longer periods.

Seriously? It'll make them better.

Sure, but that is a reason to be careful, not a reason to move inside. So long as they give them frequent water breaks it should be fine.
