I did a team camp at the University of Tulsa my senior year. It was above 100 degrees. We played on turf which made it hotter and wore full pads. The Tulsa training staff was out with tables full of gatorade. The coaches and training staff will do their best to keep the players hydrated.

Last year I'm pretty sure they had 7-8a or 5-6p practices.

hopefully they can stay in the AC this Summer and get their work done.
I fricking hope not. They need to be outside atleast 75% of the time.

I sure hope so. Notice that 7 of the 8 teams in the CWS are from the South? Yeah football is a lot harder on the body. But not only do we have one of the best conditioning coaches (Moffitt) in the country, workouts in the heat are essential for a team that is going to be playing 6 games in subtropical heat by October 22 . . . 7 games if Jerry Jones decides to open his roof and give the Tigers an advantage. He could surely sell a lot beverages that way.
We in South Louisiana remember how many sweaty Halloweens we endured without complaint because of the candy. I wonder when Oregon will realize Jerry Jones opened Texas' duck hunting season early this year.
Seriously though, indoor skill sharpening definitely has its place.

If I were proficient to the point to warrant a scholarship worth 14k per year and the best view of LSU football each week, I'd suck it up for 3 hours a day in the heat.
Just sayin'.....Ciron Black once told me "man, I wish I was your size", and I re-iterated with, "man, I wish I had Herman Johnson's skill"

Probably--though they may change times to early morning & some evening work-outs. Remember, the other teams practice in the heat as well & they have to play three or four games at the first of the season in that heat.
