Perdition is really underrated, as well as The Terminal. I liked both a lot

I thought the Terminal was decent.
Most of his good movies aren't underrated, though...

Has to be Road to Perdition. Didn't get that much publicity when it came out, and even I forget that it exists sometimes despite owning it. Seems like every two or three years I go through my DVDs looking for something to watch, stumble upon it and eagerly re-watch it. Probably will watch it again sometime this weekend. Money Pit (think that's the name, with him and Shelley Long and the messed up house) was pretty good too and I don't see it talked about that much.

A League of Their Own I think is perhaps his most underrated role.
Nothing In Common might be his most unknown really good role and might have been his first attempt at serious drama. He and Jackie Gleason were amazing together. They had a lot of chemistry and it was a nice way for Gleason to "go out".
I would say Castaway but he was nominated for an Oscar so it is hard to call that underrated.
Catch Me If You Can was really lead by Dicaprio.
I'll go with Ladykillers. I know you all hate it, but Hanks owns me in this movie.

The Burbs
That's a great movie and should be labeled a classic imo.

One of my favorites. Was the first movie where he showed he had some serious acting chops (not a "straight" comedy). Barry Corbin was hilarious (and Sela Ward.....

Joe vs. the Volcano
As a movie, often ridiculed but way underrated IMO. Weird premise, but lots of charm. Great multiple roles by Meg Ryan. Joe's character evolution is great to watch, and the scene where he's out on the raft/suitcases and talks to God and the moon is classic.
Go ahead and laugh.

Road to Perdition for me.
I can watch that and catch me if you can over and over again.

Joe vs. the Volcano
It's amazing that League of our Own isn't more highly regarded. It's one of the best baseball movies ever made.
