Best bet would be Kegler's, Crockett's, or Mario's Fish Bowl.

Also an update for those of you bringing RV's and plan on parking at the Coliseum. The rates were raised this year to $80 for the weekend.

Maybe if you rattle a pill bottle loud enough they will be able to hear it in Boone County.

Now I just have to score a couple of trustworthy students to drive me and my car overnight to get there.

That's quite a haul from Baton Rouge. I've driven to West Virginia (Snowshoe ski resort in the far eastern part of the state) about 5 times from the Montgomery, Alabama area and it takes anywhere from 12 to 13 hours one way. I drove through Wytheville, Virginia up to Bluefield, W Va to Beckley and then east to White Sulphur Springs before heading north to Snowshoe. Very pretty drive but some of those small towns other than maybe Beckley look terribly depressing and run down.
I assume LSU fans that are driving up would go the same way except for going straight north from Beckley to Charleston and then north to Morgantown. I'd fly from New Orleans to Pittsburgh if at all possible if I was an LSU fan going to the game. Much more convenient.

Can someone give me a run down on local craft beers and where I can find them.

rutiger-
the two local breweries are:
Morgantown Brewing Company - LINK /
Mountain State Brewing - LINK /
I like both, with a slight edge to Morgantown Brewing Co. They have more choices, more imaginative beers with slightly more flavor. Food is decent too. Mountain State is good as well, but they stick with the basics: Amber, Stout, IPA, and a Light Ale. They do serve brick oven flatbread pizzas which are really good.
Another cool place to check out (for beer lovers) is Jay's Getaway. - LINK
Small, cool bar with good atmosphere. THE best beer selection in Morgantown, by far. Nice selection of rotating taps. I've been surprised by what shows up here. My favorite place to drink locally.
If you happen to be staying in Pittsburgh for a night, and like Belgian beer, you have to check out one of the Sharp Edge locations. LINK / Excellent selection of belgian beer, many on draft that I've never found anywhere else.

I'm from Bluefield and I post on the OT.. which means i'm rich. All the towns you mentioned are better looking than any small town in La-Ms

I saw the movie "Matewan", so I know a lot about West Virginia. Saw them play last year, also.

That's debatable. The small towns on the drive from White Sulphur Springs to Snowshoe in particular were depressing. The idea that it took 30 to 40 minutes to go 25 miles on those narrow winding 2 lane roads and then having to navigate rough looking towns like Marlington probably made it seem worse than it was.
