Easy Hoss. we've won a lot of very close games. we should be capable of winning every game on our schedule next year, but we need serious improvement at QB.

We also have to replace the three best players on Defense in Nevis, Peterson and Sheppard.

Not an easy task. LSU needs to take every game one at a time.

This leaves just as much of a void in leadership as talent

The defensive leaders will be replaced in terms of talent, but it will take a while in terms of leadership ability. Our D will be in good hands next year though and I can see Matheiu becoming a vocal leader. But this year is still too much fun to be looking at next year. I'll wait for Feb. to start that.

I know. I felt crazy for even typing it. But i think that PP#7 is such a competitor that he wants at least a SEC title to put his stamp on his legend here at LSU

Without Crowton and with Metenberger we've got a shot.

lord it would be re-goddam-diculous if we pulled it off for a 3rd straight year in the superdome. talk about defending the home turf!

No question. I have a feeling Baker, Claiborne, Montgomery, Loston, Taylor and Mingo will all have stong leadership years next season. Baker is especially impressive with the passion he displays on the field.

No way he stays. He will be a top ten pick and this year will see more guys leave early because of some rookie salary cap next year
