Cooking disasters aside, what's your favorite drink ...

to consume while cooking your favorite meal? Do you always drink the same thing while you cook anything or just certain dishes?

Old Charter. To spice it up I sometimes vary the number of ice cubes I put in it.

wine....It wont get hot like beer and it wont water down like a drink....plus you can add it to what your cooking.

Wine or a good glass of scotch or a good martini depending on what I'm cooking, day of the week, mood, what's in the liquor cabinet, who's around, what time it is, do I have homework, etc...

I know I never drank alcohol until legal....back then it was 18...but we were much more mature back then

I'm a creature of habit.

But I've started making them with gin. It's like eating free range chicken after eating Tyson for years.

I started drinking around age 12, and really suffered no adverse effects other than a bad liver, a propensity for gout and a tsate for 300 dollar scotch. Tread lightly LL.
