It's great how everyone hates on us by bitching about our "lucky" wins yet Auburn has played most teams close and gets credit for "finding a way to win". Can't wait to slaughter them.

Hope the players see it. LSU against the world.

I hope our players are reading these article and taking them to heart.

Yet teams like Boise and TCU are highly ranked and haven't done shite. It is a bunch of bull shite to criticize LSU when there are three mid major in the top 10 that don't even play anybody.

Does this idiot also not realize that the CPU polls "sort themselves out" better the later it gets in the season? The BCS standings mean nothing until after championship week.

I can see it now:
Final LSU 31 Auburn 14, BUT...
Cam Newton had the worrst game of his career!

They know this very well, they are just trying to make headlines and get viewers to their website becuase that is their job, to make ESPN money. Their job is not to impartially evaluate anything, it is to get people to visit their website and watch their network so ESPN can make money off advertising.
eta: Even knowing this, I'm still
So, they must be doing their job well.

So when LSU wins ugly it's called luck. However, when Ohio State/Oklahoma/Southern Cal wins ugly it's called fighting, having the want for victory, battle tested.

my pet peeve in college football...
points are pretty.
defense isn't.
auburn and oregon look awesome to the pundits.
lsu looks gross.
defense wins titles and i would say lsu has a much better chance of winning a title than auburn.

And when that happens they won't give the LSU D credit. They will just say Cam played bad and committed unforced errors.

I think the computers have it right. Out of all the undefeated teams, LSU has the toughest schedule so far, so why wouldn't the computers have us at #1. At the end of the year the undefeated team with the toughest schedule should be ranked #1. The computers are not biased by style points or media darlings.

Last year Bama should have lost to Tennessee at home and they were not impressive on offense until the end of the year(they kicked alot of FG's in the red zone). LSU has not been impressive but the great thing is they havent peaked. If and when LSU starts clicking all the "experts" will notice and LSU will get all the respect they deserve. If the offense could ever start controlling the ball and scoring points they could be scary good. Just imagine how dominant the d would be if it was rested.

The inferiority complex on the rant is astounding. The fact is, we haven't looked #1. We beat an undermanned UF who lost to MSU, needed a miracle to overcome our coaching staff's stupidity against Tennessee, made McNeese look decent, etc... I don't blame them one bit. Now...we beat Auburn? Unless we have a last second miracle(Tennessee) I bet people come around.

It has always been like that. We need to keep winning & not worry about what those dumb asses say. No matter what, I am PROUD of my TIGERS.
