They lost to Stephen F. Austin 32 - 27 and the Cowboys will be sky high for LSU.

These guys like to chunk the rock.

I'm just glad we don't have to play McNeese at their place.

Lots of injuries. QB (concussion) and RB down last night, not sure how bad.

I went to McNeese (couldn't afford LSU at the time). One thing to be said for McNeese is that their fans will be there this weekend. Sold out their allotment, people still looking for tickets. More than can be said for the Tech, ULL crowd.

I hope we get some much needed reps for this new offensive look. Lee still hasn't thrown 50 passes for the year.

Couldn't come at a better time.

They're usually a good I-AA team, but not so much this year.

what makes you say that?

Tech and ULL did not support their team (with their attendance) at LSU like I believe the McNeese crowd will.

I never even thought about the McNeese fan base. So, they may be a factor at Tiger Stadium?

They lose 50-6 at mizzou and 40-14 vs cal poly.

So if we dont put up or win by at least 60, itll be fire miles time.

McNeese has a great fanbase, and they travel. Most are big Tiger fans as well. No penis envy like ULL, or ULM, these are some real good folks.

Do you have something to back that up or did you just pull it out your arse?

I believe he is correct as well, McNeese fans will by far outnumber those teams.

I'm usually at every home game and at watching every game when I can.

This year, we lost alot on offense when we lost our 4 year starter in Fourroux. Our transfer QB isn't that great and it proves why McNeese has leaned on their own QB's rather than taking one year transfers.

This is an off year at McNeese. I wish we could have played this last year. Not saying we would have went in and won, but it would have been more fun to watch.

This year, the defensive coordinator sucks and I can't stand the fact that he ha s a job considering the talent we have in the secondary. He's cost us so much within the last couple years. We talk about trends so much here and it's blatantly obvious that he is not what we are used to at McNeese.

LSU rolls, obviously, but again. I just wish it were last year. It's so frustrating watching McNeese's defense. It's more frustrating than watching LSU's offense. Seriously.

So basically you're in torture twice a weekend instead of once. Sucks for you.

hey guys lets get real -- mcneese should have no chance -- tigers getting them at right time. offense should be able to work out its problems.i live in lake charles and am a big tiger fan. he is right the mcneese faithful will be there in full force, first time in history thse 2 have played. mcneese is in a off year , they usually give the big schools all they can handle. played tough in miami, nebraska and north carolina, also shoul have beat t a&m fews years ago when slocum was there. could have beat north carolin 3 years ago if not for a couple great specuial team runs for n c. i am a tiger fan and a mcneese fan, glad to see them playing and hope for a good showing from the cowboys.

Seriously, if this was one of those McNeese teams from the mid-90s, this game might be interesting.

The Cowboys were huge back in those days when they were annually going deep in the 1AA playoffs.

McNeese does not seem to be recruiting the same type of athletes these days. The last time I saw them live was at the Tulane game last year and they seemed small--even for a 1AA team.

I do acknowledge what was said already--McNeese fans are, in general, very good folks and root for both McNeese and LSU.
