He lost the un-true fans, not the faithful! This board sucks! you bunch of whinning idiots!! 90% of you are not true fans. People make mistakes, stand by your team, stand by your coach. Bitching, crying, and complaining isn't going to fix anything. Get a grip! you can't
un-ring a bell!!

All the talent...and so little to show for it- having to squeeze out victories against teams like Miss. St. & La. Tech, every game was a struggle except Tulane, although we did play good against Auburn. Why do we struggle to win with all that talent? Something is wrong here, & the problem is the coach(s). How can anyone truly remain a Miles fan??
Poor QB play!

I agree. But this is the Internet. It's not an athletic department multi-tool.

He lost Egg and Ron Mexico. Their kids will never play for him. They will play flutes like their Dads. They will become football experts behind the safety of the internet!

Dont know what % but i do. Crowton probably needs to go though.

Look. I'm not going to end my streak because of this. I still "support" him because he is the coach of my Alma Mater. But I'm still embarrassed to have had his back for as long as I have.

Just to let everybody know this is only maybe 15-20% of LSU's fan base.

Les Miles has always been a mediocre game day coach, its all catching up to him now. The product on the field is piss poor and has been for the last two years. Next year is an actual rebuilding year.
Also next year LSU has two OOC games that are not cupcakes. The last two seasons LSU has had basically 4 gimmes on the schedule per year. LSU really hasn't beaten a good team, outside of GT who was overrated in two years.

+1
I'm wondering why it took Saturday for me to see what many have been saying for a long time.

this board represents about 5% of the fans, who cares what we think.

probably a good chunk of the recruiting base too.
Um, no. Maybe three recruits at the most, if any.
I still have faith in Miles, fwiw. I think he'll make the necessary coaching changes on the offensive side of the ball to get us back up to the top.

Everybody (that's EVERYBODY) I talked to since Saturday lost confidence in the guy. And yes, we all still are behind the team. That will never change. But nobody is behind the coach anymore.

Found this on the web from another TexasTiger...
Time to get rid of Les Miles. This is not the first time (see links) this has happened and we will not be able to beat the elite with him as our coach.
Opening Thoughts:
-Dexter McCluster can throw a pass but Russell Shepard can't all season? Really? Wow………I am pretty sure that he was the #1 player in the state of Texas playing 5A ball. HE IS A FREAKING QB
-Our QB development has been awful. No improvement in Jarrett Lee. Little to none for Jefferson.
- The only time we throw a screen pass was the last drive? Tyrone Nix was blitzing all night. Throw it to the back out of the backfield
For all the Miles Lovers:
-He is: 2-3 vs. Houston Nutt
1-2 vs. Saban
2-3 vs. Urban Meyer
1-2 vs. Mark Richt
0-1 vs. Petrino
*-All the people that keep quoting his record are absolutely off base. Those are the elite coaches in the SEC. He has a losing record against EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Forward this to any person that likes Les Miles. The fact that he beats Tulane, La Tech, Miss. State (should have lost), Washington, & Vandy doesn't give him anything worth hanging his "hat” on. Please say this all together, he has a losing record to EVERY SINGLE TOP NOTCH PROGRAM……
- How many Les Miles recruits have been first round draft picks? Answer: 0
-Kentucky game in 2007. Charles Scott has 99 yards at halftime and doesn't see the ball until late in the fourth….This has been the theme of his entire career. We don't manage a game effectively. If you remember back to the Arkansas game in 2007, we got an illegal motion penalty that nullified the go ahead touchdown. Hester caught the touchdown that was called back. THE GAME WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE GONE TO OVERTIME!!
-Auburn game in 2006 (different OC so no excuses for all you Les loving people). He puts Charles Scott in the game on the last possession and he hadn't played all game. This begs two questions:
1) If he is "capable" of being in at such a crucial time, why in the world was that the first time he was in the game?
2) Secondly, he hadn't played all season to that point. What a great way to make someone successful, put him in at Jordan Hare on the final drive.
- Troy and La. Tech of this year should make you realize that the players play for themselves and not for their coach. Coach Miles spoke about how he instilled in his players not to look past Tech. HIS PLAYERS didn't listen for two years in a row. This is a sign.
Parting Thoughts:
I regrettably have to go back to work now. This is my Alma Mater. As we all know, football runs this University and for that matter the entire state. Every Tiger fan deserves better. We will recover from this. Do not accept mediocrity. Make it so miserable that he leaves on his own. We owe it to our players who bust their tail, to have a better leader.

I just think it is hilarious to see how retarded all of the people on this board really are...we have been trying to point out how much of a Moron LM is, but all we would get in return is "He's got a better record at LSU than Saban did", "He brought us to a BCSNCG just two years ago", "Blah, Blah, Blah." I do not understand why you all are so surprised at his poor clock management. He has NEVER been able to manage the clock. HOW MANY F'N TIMES HAS HE LET 1:30 RUN OUT BEFORE HALF WITH LSU NEEDING ONLY ABOUT 60 YDS TO GET A TD??? NOT EVEN A TRY FOR A FIELD GOAL??? HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE??? He has done this in almost every other game! I do not see why you are surprised now I am glad, however, that you have all FINALLY jumped off the DAMN fence.

The curtain fell on the wizard. Now we see the coach for what he really is. He wins games, recruits well and runs a clean program. But player progression, penalties, offensive and defensive stalls and game management are all in question now.

I support Coach Miles and still think he's a great HEAD Coach. He made a mistake with the kick team this past week but do yall really think we would have got people lined up on time anyway? Probably not. He recruits as good as any coach in the country and we don't have a ton of player misconduct. That is what a head coach watches over. He's also made some great hires since he's been here in Bo Pelini and John Chavis. All you people remember is his mistake last year. I want Crowton gone but in 2007 that hire by Miles single handedly won a NC for us. There is no way our offense should have averaged 40+ points a game that year. Now however I want Crowton out. Miles is a great coach who makes mistakes like any other coach does. Not saying its ok, but it was a learning experience for him which I can promise he won't let happen again.
