Good grief. I really can't stand all the doom and gloom that is being spewn about on this board. How in the world can you guys possibly find any enjoyment in watching the Tigers when all you do is wait for any slip up, large or small, and then devour it and go online and tell everyone how horrible this team - YOUR TEAM - is? How can that be fun for you?
You spend all game looking for any measure for which we fall short, then spend the next week (or two weeks) extrapolating that error into the worst possible catastrophe scenario. If this is your idea of enjoyment and support, I really want nothing to do with that.
Let me say this. Les Miles is not an idiot.

You do not get to be a head coach at a school like LSU without learning several things about football and people along the way. He can clearly see where this team is falling short and will do everything possible to bring them ready to play and WIN their next game.
You spend all game looking for any measure for which we fall short, then spend the next week (or two weeks) extrapolating that error into the worst possible catastrophe scenario. If this is your idea of enjoyment and support, I really want nothing to do with that.

The last 4 weeks this place has been unbearable. I don't spend much time here for fear of negative vibe contamination.
I would have liked to see the OL block better and the DL get more pressure on the QB.
It is what it is... To fire the coaches and rebuild with a 5-1 record is crazy....

Correct of course. But you have to remember one thing. This board is the classic cliche of sports as evidenced by: 1) Everything is the head coaches fault even if a guy lines up offsides
2) The best player on the roster is the 2nd string QB
3) Defense is measured by one thing and one thing only....a pass rush
If you understand these 3 items, you realize some of the viewpoints of some of these people. They are caricatures of college football fair weather fans.

You nailed it, Phil. losers, quitters and wannabe's come here to gleefully ravage a 5-1 team whose only blemish came at the hands of the #1 team in the country. This board is just a collection of people who are not happy people. I have friends that went to LSU and bashed even when Saban was there. They get together on this board and spiral their negativity into a giant purple and gold whorl pull where any positive light is quickly distinguished.
It's amazing how fans forget that college teams are a collection of kids and young adults.

I agree. I used to come here daily, actually several times daily. Now I try to avoid it as best I can.
There are too many goddamn pussies with no backbone trashing Les Miles, Crowton, JJ, you name it. If something isn't 100% perfect, they're upset and all pissy about it.

People are nuts... yeah im mad we lost cus the qb spot is on the coaches. I also see better in this team, but we didn't win all those games for nothing. There are some good teams out there that are already out of the MNC hunt and we are still in. O needs to get better and if we dont after the by week then we have problems.

I agree! People wake up, quit focusing on the negative!!!!!Les Miles is a great coach! Sure there are a few things that need fixing, but that's with any team. Be thankful for where this program is. In case you have forgotten, LSU's record just ten years ago was 3-8. In the 1990's LSU won only 54 games. Since 2000,LSU has won 95 games 48 with Nick Satan and 47 with Miles. We are ranked 7th. in the Nation. Now what in the HELL is wrong with that. If you don't like it, support another team!

Tiger Phil....it's a very vocal minority dogging on our Tigers....
Plus, they can do it behind a computer screen......w/ a made up name......and most probably aren't LSU fans to begin with.
