He's smart to flee California and move to Texas. He's also smart not to alienate the liberal potential home buyers in the area by saying he wants to be closer to his family instead of saying he's happy to flee that socialist shithole to the land of no state income taxes. It doesn't say where his daughters are going to school, one might be in LSU Med School for all you know. Scott also has business ties from his time with the Cowboys and Saints. It's a smart move all-around.

Well he’s not going to say he’s fleeing b/c he doesn’t want to pay the highest taxes in the country from democrat policies and all the other insane bs that state passes.
I’ve had plenty of conversations/arguments with Dems that fled Cali to Texas and Arizona, they come up with a million reasons but it’s never the real one.
