Countries with the most firearms owners, per capita

If tweet fails to load, click here. I'm gonna go on record now as stating that the number for the U.S. of A is grossly underestimated.
This country has what, a legal citizen population of 350 million?
40% of those are under the age of 18 or either legally forbidden from owning firearms.
The NSSA estimates that there are over 500 million firearms owned by citizens in this country. Those are the ones they know of based upon NICS data. Over 200 million small arms were sold during Obama's eight years in office alone ... which is why he's known as the GOAT firearms saleman
So let's say there are 250 million legal aged, felony free, adults in this country (not counting illegals).
That "per capita" number for the US is low (their per capita metric is per 100 citizens). Even if we take into account that some of us own a lot more firearms and ammo than others ... than most.
Still ... that number is lowballing.
We, as private citizens, own more small arms and ammo than the five largest militaries in the world ... combined.
That's not counting the technically "illegal firearms" on our streets or in the hands of thugs and illegals.

Does the data include guns that may or may not have been reported lost in, say, boating accidents?

Sure most of those numbers are too low, most of those countrie have no idea who and how many firearms are owned..
Also, our gun should have been gold-plated with a bald eagle shitting on the other countries.

I went into it thinking I’d be impressed with any country over 20. I’m just ignorant to gun laws in other counties and figure that enough to be pretty annoying to mess with in some type of hypothetical land invasion.
UK shocked me. Truly shocked me. How’d the government get their guns? I’ll go look into it.

Wow....nice to know. I was thinking I was below average, but then I saw where it said "per 100 people", so I am carrying my weight.

i chuckled when I saw the tower of the USA over second place which towered above most of the world, but then looked at the number 120/100 households, basically saying that each person has 1.2 guns...I don't even know how many I have (+25), I just know that I haven't told anyone on any poll or survey about that quantity!
