Was picking up a few things today at Sam's. There was a dad there wearing a Tennessee Vols with his two boys. I don't see too many fans of SEC schools so I said hello. Turns out he went to So.Cal and just bought the hat on vacation to the Smokies. Anyway, about then I notice one of his little guys (3 or 4 y/o) has a orthopedic boot on h8s foot. So I asked him, "How'd you hurt your foot buddy?" "I found my boot in the basement...." Dad pipes in and says, "Oh that boot is a bit of stolen Valor. He broke his foot about 8-10 months ago and found ot again and insisted on wearing it....

I can’t imagine allowing your kid to wear an orthopedic walking boot instead of his normal shoe. I guess I come from a generation where everything goes parenting wasn’t in vogue though.
