Has to be an attitude problem with Nuss or his agent told teams to not draft him

Maybe it’s all of the above.

Or maybe he had something with his spine? And teams don’t want to invest in that.

You only fall this far with a decent arm if it is all of the above. Mental and physical

He's an immobile QB that consistently makes bad decisions but has a strong arm. Not sure how that adds up to NFL.

Why does it “have to be” one of those two things?

Maybe his injury is worse than reported.

Either way, LSU will likely end up his highest payday.

What else could it be? Who looks at a tape and reasons that Talen Green or Kaliakmanis are better than Nussmeier? It’s probable none of them are NFL players but those 2 guys got picked ahead of him

A couple of reasons.

One is because people want to be right.

Two, because there’s a group that really wants to believe that Nuss is on the level of Joe Burrow but only sucked because of injury and weapons.

It’s all of it. Including maybe some attitude.

He wasn't nearly as bad of a college QB as people acted. But he has tons of issues outside of his injury for the NFL. He makes terrible decisions. He has limited mobility in the pocket. And while he has a cannon when healthy, he's not elite throwing a deep ball accurately.

Add in having a dad that is a QB coach in the NFL, there are also concerns of whether he gas any room for improvement or if he's already maxed out his potential.

Pops probably told the teams if he drops to the 7th don’t draft him so he could be UDFA

He would be an absolute TO machine in the nfl. It just wont work out for him professionally. I really don’t think it’s even an injury thing. His decision making skills have always been his downfall. Add the mobility issues to that and he’s just a sitting duck honestly.

That twirling maneuver that he instinctually goes to trying to extend plays is very bad tape and he’s not been able to remove it from his game. These types of things are the reason he’s fallen this far

They must think he has a bad injury.
