They've always been dependent on government. Go back to 2001, and even before that.

And never forget, the airline scum were some of the forefront of demanding FedGov take a stand on masks to absolve them of "in NY we require masks but when we get over South Carolina airspace, you can take them off, and when we land in Florida, you can spit in each other's drinks." Airlines have always used government as a shield against passengers.

This may be the one time I agree with your Low IQ arse but I still can make sense of that second paragraph.

Yes, but if you need a cheap flight………

I’ve flown spirit once alone. I would never put my family on a spirit flight

The wife and I flew Spirit once, it was the only option available for that route at a time we could work with. We "splurged" and upgraded to whatever they call their "first class," which was basically something just above coach on other airlines but with more attentive service because there were fewer of us.

We rarely check luggage so it wasn't all that bad but I wouldn't fly their coach class unless it was an emergency, that looked miserable.

Don’t you have some big fancy plane to get on? And another booster shot? How about another abortion to cap the day off?

I’m surprised between your busy day you still find time to share your dumbass thoughts on here.

there is a saying "too big to fail". not sure if spirit qualifies. if it was delta or united, the feds would bail out.

Whenever you see a video of a couple of hood rats throwing down at an airport ticket counter or on a plane...that's the airline.

Merger should have been approved.

The "answer" to no consolidation of low cost carriers is to make sure only one ultimately survives and the other goes tits up? Same outcome with much more chaos.

I’m pretty sure they’re just working the system to merge without having to deal with the monopoly stuff

Covid destroyed a lot more than the airlines. I remember when 9-11 occurred thinking it would be the seminal event of our lifetime. While it was unbelievably tragic and did change some things about our everyday life, Covid has proven to have altered our existence more so than 9-11 did. And to think it was all manufactured in a Wuhan lab for the purpose of getting rid of DJT. Well played Dems and the CCP, well played indeed.

I think the whole cheap flying experience, spirit airlines business model, doesn’t really help. I personally, as a consumer would never give them my business from what I’ve heard about their service.
