Nick is one guy who definitely has sources. He started talking up Tyler Shough a lot the few weeks before the draft last year, and later reported he had been told off the record that the Saints were drafting him. Smells like something very similar happening with Tyson now. I don't think he's guessing or speculating, I think Nick knows something.

I think it’s most likely

Tate or Tyson at 8. And if those guys are gone…either Downs or Delane. But one of Tyson or Tate should be there since Giants are HEAVILY implied to be in on Styles or Downs at 5.

Yeah, I dont see Saints passing on him either.

With the cast of cast offs they had at WR last year, Saints are def. Taking him if he is there. Seaux, needs a WR that can come in and have an immediate impact and split coverage with Olave.
That is what Tyson brings.

Book it.

I’d prefer Styles or Reese or Downs. And I’d probably go Delane over Tate or Tyson. But if it’s out of those two, I’d lean Tate.

I watched some ASU games and wasn’t that impressed with Tyson. He didn’t seem like a Jamar Chase type talent people seem to hype him to be. With his injury history, I just don’t like him that high. Not to mention the people questioning his toughness.

Tate seems very solid and technically proficient. Maybe like a more fluid Michael Thomas.

I’d take Lemon over Tyson too. He’s smaller and might be more of a slot guy, but he seems like a tough SOB that would get a lot of YAC.

Do you mean Shough? If so, I agree. Vele is a WR3, he doesn't separate well enough to ever be a WR1 or high level WR2. Unless they think they stole something with Ja'lynn Polk, I think another WR who is an Olave-level threat could really open things up in this offense. And, just as importantly, keep it going when Olave misses a game or two.

I hope it’s one of the big 3 at 8. I’d go lemon. Then Tyson. Then Tate but I’d be very happy with any of them. I’ve kinda decided at this point that I want wr at 8 or Delane. That’s my wish list.

Nick is best source for Saints news. Tyson might not be the pick. They will go offense playmaker at 8.

I can see Tate over Tyson, but can't get on board with this Lemon take. To be worth a 1st round pick, a WR under 6 foot needs to be a burner. Lemon ran a 4.5 and is 5'11". No thanks, not in 1st round and definitely not in the top 10.

I’d prefer WR at 8 and then defense at 42 and 73.

I think there’s a bigger drop off at WR between Tate, Lemon and Tyson and what would be available at 42. I’m not sold on Chris Bell, Brazzell, etc.

Why on earth would an NFL organization lead who their number one pick is going to be ahead of draft night? There's zero upside to this.

I said he’s Justin Jefferson 2.0 months ago on here. People didn’t wanna hear it. Now look at him and the hype he’s getting

Glad I’m not alone on this way of thinking.

Let’s lock down another rockstar at wr and then figure out the rest. I like the thought of having another star wr on the team to have a little leverage when it comes contract talks time with Olave. But mostly to give defenses a lot more to worry about. I want an offense that consistently moves the chains and to not feel like we’re cooked if we fall in a 10 or 13-0 hole to start a game.

He only had a private workout Friday for NFL teams, no pro day, no video.

I hope we don’t pick him. He had three totally unrelated injuries that don’t affect each other in any way and I haven’t evaluated him personally, but he’s out.

He does not know who we are picking and clearly says it’s just his opinion in all his videos
