I’m not a Yeskie hater, but I strongly disagree with this.

I see this is some sort of joke.

LSU with only 3 hits is more concerning.

I really don’t understand how the rant regularly wants to call for someone’s job, but then defends an awful coach like yeskie. The Pitching staff improved when he left his last job and we won in spite of him last year.

We caught lightning in a bottle with Anderson and Eyanson. There are so many talented arms on this team that are wasted. I would love to be wrong but a lot of people did not want him to follow Johnson here at the time

How about we just ban your arse from the site instead? Seems like a more productive use of our time.

theres a reason why hes coached more pitchers to championships than any pitching coach in the history of college baseball. hes developed a lot of guys and taken them from good to great. Kade anderson went from good to great under yeskie as did others

He's made the CWS with like 4 different programs.

The idea that he's an "awful coach" is simply laughable.

It is not laughable to look at these results and call it awful. These are big time prospects that are struggling and you’re not seeing that somewhere like A&M this season. I think LSU could do better

Look I am not a Yeskie fan either. I don't think we have the best pitching coach either.

He's not over criticism to be honest. yes, he gets credit for the back half of last year but if it wasn't for Eyanson/Anderson that bullpen was going to get more heavily exposed through the season. Everyone was complaining how bad they were behind the starters outside a couple guys like Cowan who even regressed until his big outing against Arkansas. The guys just stepped up when they needed.

Yeskie's pitching always feels like it gets off super slow. You can argue every pitcher from last year has regressed outside maybe 1. He's not past criticism for how bad this team is. In order to be as bad as you are it has to be a team effort. Yes, catcher's suck but so do our pitchers at times.

Y’all were saying the same crap about Wes Johnson when he was our pitching coach. And Wes was regarded as one of the best pitching coaches in all of baseball. Nobody is good enough for some of you.

I'm not saying he should be fired but you realize this team is 20 years bad? You have to go back probably almost 20 years to find an LSU team this bad. Someone is responsible. Statistically, it ain't looking good for Yeskie right now especially since all his pitchers from last year have regressed. Not saying it's all his fault since the defense and catchers are bad too but pitching has been a huge disappointment. Constant shoot themselves in the foot that has nothing to do with defense/catchers on free bases. You should go look at the statistics. They're pretty awful.
