Wade is inheriting a program with literally zero players and coming off a historically bad four-year stretch. According to the McMen, he gets at least two years to rebuild and his record doesn't count.

Am I doing this right?

In all seriousness, McMahon inherited 3 returning players.

Wade will get a transfer team his first year with a better starting 5 than MM had his first year.

Wade also kind of left it in shambles when he was fired the first time. That's how it works.

Except for no threat of sanctions and having $12 million in NIL yes it’s exactly the same.

17-55 SEC record. Absolutely pathetic!

What program has hired McMahon? Such a great coach right? Shouldn’t be out of work long then…

To be fair, no one wanted to hire Will Wade when lsu fired him, either.

Do you know for sure the NIL budgets of McMahon vs. Year 1 of Wade.

Please provide evidence on how you know this. TIA.

The whole reason Wade was fired the first time was because he had an "NIL" budget.

Sounds like he left it exactly as he found it.

Not really. In the portal era, every coaching change has this type of turnover. Inheriting an empty roster is the norm.

Don’t blame WW for the NIL budget LSU gave MM, that decision was made by the same people that fired WW.

Is the program really that much worse than when Wade took over the last time?

Are you an LSU basketball fan: yes or no?

Funny how you have never answered that simple question.

Not really. There was clear sarcasm in the post. The McMen cried for 4 years about inheriting an “empty” roster. My point is that is normal in the portal era with a coaching change.

I noticed.

I was genuienly asking. McMahon sunk my interest in basketball completely. I barely watched any games the last 3 years.

You’re right, we’re in much worse shape after McMahon led us to the worst era in history. Not even close really
