Question about dudes that play Mahjong...

Had a friend just ask if his manhood would be severely questioned if he played Mahjong with his wife and another couple.
I have only ever heard of women playing Mahjong.

I know a 1,000 people that play mahjong. I’ve literally never heard anyone suggest that a man should play at any point. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I ran into an old retired neuro surgeon the other day, he was walking to my kids old school center to play Mahjong with the little old ladies, thought it was odd... 
Side note: my paternal grandmother was into Mahjong with her close friends...
