They must be IMPECCABLE replacements!
This perhaps could be one of 47’s most important decisions in his entire LEGACY if these vacancies happen under his watch.
GOATs Alito and Thomas are good to serve, though, unless they say otherwise

Hope he names a bunch he’s not considering to waste commie resources and time.
Not the actual ones. Head fakes only please.

Baws need to do like Breyer and make their retirement effective when their successor is confirmed.

Hope we can do better than ACB.

Dems fixing to level some sexual assault allegations against any name trump mentions

Alito and Thomas need to retire for the sake of the country. We all know how it played out when RBG overplayed her hand.

they need to do it right and the replacements need to be right. we can’t afford to go into a post-trump presidency without 2 young replacement conservative justices

I don’t see either Alito or Thomas retiring for political expediency. If I had to choose, I could see Alito doing it before Thomas, but still overwhelming odds he won’t.
Besides, I could also see some RINOs opting against a rapid confirmation with midterms upcoming. “Principles” and all that bullshite.

Could this mean at least one?

This might be a long shot, but what about Robert’s retiring.
Most Chief Justices average about 20 years, and Roberts is nearing that mark.
But Roberts wouldn’t let Trump have that chance to leave a mark on the judiciary with a Chief Justice pick.

It's really a shame that this needs to happen, but it does need to happen.
Of course, Dems have already talked about expanding the Supreme Court if/when they take back the White House. (How would that even be Constitutional)?

The number of justices on the Supreme Court of the United States isn’t a provision of the Constitution, but is set by statute, the Judiciary Act. Legislation may be proposed, debated, passed by majority vote of both houses and signed by the President to amend the law and increase the number of justices presumably by any amount. This is what the Democrats will do if they regain control of the legislature and the executive branch.

Please Mr. President please do a better job screening your SCOTUS nominees. That last one you nominiated has proven to be a real bust.

And that's the thing.
Not being a conservative, Trump has no basis to pick actual conservative judges.
So his judge picks are a mixed bag just like he is.
And for some reason everyone thinks that ACB is the most liberal of the three he's picked, but the numbers say she's the most conservative.
Brett Kavanaugh helps create a liberal majority more than either of the other two, and it's not close. He's joined the liberal majority in close 5-4 rulings OVER HALF the time. 52%.
Gorsuch is the most likely of the three to join liberal judges in dissent for 5-4 cases. 44% of the time.
Barrett, by contrast, votes with the liberals only 32% of the time.
Contrast that with the Bush appointees and the numbers are much lower on average.
Thomas sides with the liberals 20% of the time, Roberts 35% and Alito 20%.
And again, that makes perfect sense. Trump is not a conservative; he's a populist. He's a mixed bag of policies and it makes perfect sense that he would pick justices that are also philosophical mixed bags.

you dumbfricks do not even know what you are saying.
not conservative overall? he has way more conservative/right wing policies than moderate/liberal. That makes him left wing?
you retards are amazing.
why are you still peddling lies and bullshite when this has been debunked over and over? your claim LEFT OF CENTER means he is that on the majority of his policies. that is a complete lie. the MAJORITY of his policies are CONSERVATIVE. moreso than reagan on many. are you this misinformed or just useless hack?
an almost equal num,ber of left and right policies makes one a moderate unless most your policies are indeed moderate themselves.
example:
10 right wing and say 11 left makes you a MOD
2 left wing, 2 right wing and 10 moderate makes you a MOD
15 right wing policies and 2 left wing does not make one LEFT WING nor does 15 left wing and 2 right wing make one a right winger.

What are they?
He believes in tax and spend (yes, tariffs are taxes).
He's not particularly supportive of the 2nd amendment (need I substantiate that, or is your memory good enough to remember how he has weighed in on the 2nd?)
He's actually facilitated the very definition of socialism by facilitating the government buying into a private business.
He's supported government mandated paid maternity leave, the afore-mentioned financial protectionist policies as well as government controlled price setting in certain markets, in his first term he supported legislation to facilitate DEI programs—specifically women in STEM fields, and supported "transgenders using any bathrooms they choose." That's a direct quote, btw.
He's also very tight on immigration and hawkish on military intervention, and he's reversed some of the views he championed in his first term...namely the DEI and transgender issues. He's been relatively pro-choice and also pro-life.
And that's the point. I never said he was liberal. But he's not a conservative either. He's a populist, which means he favors some liberal policies and some conservative policies and he might favor one today and completely reverse himself next month.
Because he doesn't navigate by way of any foundational principles.
If all of that offends your smooth brain, then you tell me...why is it that he can't pick SCOTUS justices who consistently vote conservatively? I gave my theory, let's hear yours.
