Why are Jordyn Tyson's injuries such a concern to people?

Massive knee injury years ago, made a full and complete recovery and performed exceptionally afterwards for years now

Collarbone: a break, freak injury, not something that would be chronic. Not a concern

Hamstring: missed the last 3 games of the season and the offseason. No previous hamstring injuries i am aware of

What's the problem here?

Looking for a perfect piece at 8. Everyone seems to think we'll get a guaranteed all pro at this spot, which is very possible.

Pick your guy if he fits. If he gets hurt often, oh well. Bad luck. Hindsight is 20/20. The opposite is unacceptable if he lands in Atlanta and never gets hurt and is all pro caliber but we were to scared to get him.

I don't know much about this guy. His stats don't scream #1 WR.

Please enlighten me.

last 3 games of the season? He injured it in October and then re-injured it the last game of the season

he had one good year without injury following the ACL, MCL AND PCL tear. Missed all of 2023

It’s amplified when talking top 10 but I agree. Very Shough esque

I’m going to get on the saints picking him actually

That’s the thing, Tyson actually has all pro potential. If he stays healthy there’s no doubt in my mind he’ll be the best WR and one of the best players from this draft.

Didn't we hire someone who is great with preventing soft tissue injuries or something?

Davenport and Houston being recent first round picks for the Saints who couldn’t get on the field is enough to give me pause when looking at a player with consistent injury history at a top 10 pick

This. People are going to bitch no matter who we pick. But I have more confidence, if he stays healthy, in him turning into an elite player than anyone not named Love. You can poke holes in any of the top 10 guys this year. Tyson has elite tape. It’s simply the injuries, a lot like Lattimore

Davenport’s issues were not injury related

Houston?

Because we would need to use the #8 overall pick on him.

I answered you in the other thread.

Did you have to start a new one?

1100 yards, followed by a 700 yard season where he played 9 games then had an injury unrelated to any previous injury.

If he had the same injury again and again ok. But he didn’t so the injury concern doesn’t make a lot of logical sense.

Davenport didn’t care about football. That’s what everyone said going into the draft…and it turned out to be true.

I assume you’re referring to Turner as well.

No idea what that has to do with Tyson. Tyson has actual production

he re-injured the hamstring last game of the season, picking him is a gamble based on recent health

That’s the same injury. He didn’t fully recover from it. It’s not like he kept straining his hamstring yearly.

You cant be serious. A hamstring injury kept him from performing at the combine and his college pro-day. Hope the guy fully recovers. But not worth the risk at 8..My opinion.
