To recap:
1. The EU Council blocked $40 billion to Hungary because it wouldn't give NGOs control over its courts.
2. The EU Court blocked Hungary from passing a FARA law to see whether NGOs there were funded by the EU.
3. The EU Council announced it would centralize voting power on EU accession to block Hungary from having a vote in the future if Orban won the election.
4. The EU flooded Hungary with political NGOs to back Magyar's campaign to oust Orban from power so Hungary would bend to the EU on Ukraine accession, mass immigration, MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, etc.
5. Magyar wins, the EU immediately imposes a 27-point conditions list for Hungary to unblock the funds, including on Ukraine accession, mass immigration, MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+, etc.
6. The EU Commissioner comes out and says she's actually going to centralize voting power to cut out EU members like Hungary anyway.

And I used to wonder why a British military officer I know used to be so vocally anti-Belgium. I guess dealing with the EU in Brussels has that effect.

Tisza is going to roll over on all the stuff it was reserved on in the election lead up.

Pretty obvious what's going to happen. You can't campaign on maintaining strong migration stances while getting the EU to send you 20b in withheld funds that were specifically withheld based on our stance on resettlement.

It's pretty depressing.

Alex Soros was elated over the election outcome. That's a "100 Red Flag Alert" in my book.

Poor Europe. They were duped by the Globalists, who were aided and abetted by degenerate puppets like Angela Merkel, and 95% of them never saw it coming.

You know they will punish Hungary as much as they can for daring to oppose them. Sucks for those people. They are basically a vassal state of the EU now.

Sovereignty is important.

In terms of broad domestic policy, Magyar isn't all that different from Orban. Europeans hope he'll be less aligned with Russia. Hungarians just hope he's a little less corrupt.

This is what he had to pretend in order to get elected. Let’s see if the immigrants start pouring in. If not, I won’t consider this a big deal, but I expect they will now be flooded. Remember, Boris Johnson campaigned on attacking illegal immigration, won the elections, and opened the floodgates to more than ever.

Go check out how the Tisza MEPs vote

I will be shocked if Magyar doesn't eventually come around to doing the EU's bidding. I see almost zero chance the groundwork for his split wasn't underway/begun with Sam Power's meetings in 2023.

The state will not finance these things, neither the event called CPAC nor other related institutions such as the Mathias Corvinus Collegium and similar attached bodies. I believe the state should never have financed them in the first place, it was a crime. Mixing party financing with government spending from the state budget is, in my view, a criminal offense, and this will have to be investigated by the future authorities, including the National Office for the Recovery and Protection of Public Assets, since those budgetary funds were not meant to finance party events.

CPAC is welcome to come to Budapest, very welcome, but it should not be financed with Hungarian taxpayers’ money. It should be funded by Fidesz, or by Orbán’s proxies, at least until that money is taken back

Looks like Vance and co. went to Hungary to try to keep the Hungarian tax dollars flowing to CPAC...

Hey bud, if Hungary didn't want to be subject to the EU's rules, then they had every chance to leave the voluntary economic and political union.

Good. It's pointless for a union to give so much power to a relatively small junior member.
