That's the one who took FEMA funds right?
The one where she used the money to buy a huge diamond ring and even took her congressional photos with the ring she used FEMA funds to buy?

The allegations center on Cherfilus-McCormick’s receipt of millions of dollars from her family’s health care business following Florida’s overpayment of roughly $5 million in disaster relief funds. Cherfilus-McCormick is accused of using that money to fund her 2021 special primary campaign and 2022 special congressional campaign through a network of businesses and family members.

She's been under investigation since September 2023. Her "scalp" is not only unsurprising, but long overdue.

In November 2025, Cherfilus-McCormick was indicted and charged with allegedly stealing $5 million in FEMA funds, money laundering, and making illegal campaign contributions.
If convicted, she faces up to 53 years in prison.[4][5] An investigation conducted by the House Ethics Committee found Cherfilus-McCormick guilty of 25 out of 27 charges.[6][7]

If anyone else were pushing this I’d say nothing happens. Paulina has a great track record, however.

Resignation is ok because at least these evil people are out of Congress, but they'll just be replaced by people just like them until some serious prosecutions and convictions happen.
Congress is the only job in America where you can fleece your employers for millions of dollars and then keep the money and resign. That's unacceptable.
