I don’t ever remember Elijah Haven being a heavy LSU lean

If he wants to come to lsu, and we have Kiffin….

And he ends up not at lsu, then I trust Kiffin will make the right choice

He was always looking out of state. Wasn’t really interested in LSU just kept up the appearance.

He was never an LSU lean. All the noise out of his camp was “out of state”.

For a QB it’s about when you announce as much as where you announce.

For someone that’s been in BR sports as long as Moscona, he’s wrong about a lot.

Generating discourse online = money.

Haven always seemed to be trending out of state.

He wasn't. There never was a favorite until there was, and it wasn't LSU. We got a commit from Houston shortly thereafter and that was the end of that.

There was a point he had done a few interviews where he said LSU was his dream school.

It’s amazing how all the “LSU is my dream school” recruits never choose LSU lol. It’s almost like they are full of shite.

LSU seemed to prioritize Houston. Likely pushed for a commit and Haven wasn’t ready, so they backed off

Anyway, as long as the portal is around, high school
QBs do not matter.

Nope. He was a Florida lean, then a Bama lean, then whatever lean he is now. The previous staff targeted Pop and got him to commit, and it looks like the current staff agree.

Not to mention if you recruit a high school QB and he isn’t the starter by year 2 he is transferring and you wasted all that time for nothing. These kids are soft as charmin and have zero dog in them anymore.

It’s simple we went with the other talented kid who WANTED to be a tiger. Elijah never gave the vibe he wanted to be a tiger Peyton by all accounts bleeds purple and gold

Haven's coach at Dunham is Catholic High alum Neil Weiner, son of former Catholic High head coach Dale Weiner. Dale Weiner coached Mascona at Catholic High. That's why Mascona can't let Haven go and keeps bringing it up along with his desire to grab clicks. Same reason he constantly talks up William Schmidt and Daniel Harden.
